Father Daughter Dance Thank You

A big shout out to Manuela Seidl and Heather Sander – Heinz for coordinating this wonderful and amazing event the Father Daughter Dance!!! More than 150 parents and their daughters attended. A huge thank you to all of our volunteers and their families! And an even huger one to those who did all the moving and shaking, heavy lifting and house building - "The Alberts"!

Wow what a great group of parents we have at Albert Einstein Academies. You made the dance a HUGE success. THANK YOU! Thank you! THANK YOU! -- The GCC Team

Join our Annual Donation Drive!

In the month since the school year began, we have had 66 families sign up for either a one-time or a monthly donation pledging over $19,000 for AEA school programs. They join another 37 families continuing their monthly contributions from last year's drive. We can't thank you enough for your contributions. Go to foaea.org/donate to donate. It only takes a minute to make a big difference in your child's education.

Purchasing on Amazon: The Networking Effect

September has already raised more than $700. With the exception of December last year (presents), this has been our best month ever. Keep up the good work and remember to use our link for all of your Amazon purchases.

Don't forget that anybody can use foaea.org/amazon and help support AEA. Tell grandparents, uncles, and aunts know. Let your friends know. Tell anybody walking down the street. Change the bookmarks on any computer you can find. Use it at work. There's really no limit to how much we can raise with this program. All we need is to do is keep getting the word (or link) out and don't forget to change your own bookmarks on all of your computers and smart devices.

FoAEA Board Meeting - This Thursday

The next FoAEA board meeting will be this Thursday from 6-8pm at the middle school. Please join us. If you have questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact the board president.

Support essential enrichment programs at AEA

Please help support essential programs at AEA through a donation to Friends of Albert Einstein Academies. Our goal is to have 200 families participate in this donation drive. Donating to FoAEA supports the enrichment programs that our kids benefit from including art, music, PE and science programs and provides funds for field trips, assemblies, and classroom supplies.

If you haven't signed up yet, please take 5 minutes to contribute to AEA's enrichment programs. Go to our donation website from your mobile device or computer and select a monthly donation amount or a one time donation. Choose $30/month ($1/day) or any amount affordable to you. Even $5 or $10 per month makes a huge difference for the kids.

Matching Grants

Last year, the following companies made matching grants to FoAEA: Union Bank, Qualcomm, Pfizer, Intuit, Genentech, Covidien, Nokia, and ARS National Svcs.

We thank all of these companies for their generous support. If you work for any of these companies and have not yet taken advantage of their matching grant program, it just takes a few minutes and is free money to the school. One way of finding out if your employeer supports matching grants is to look at this list of companies. Information normally needed to have an employeer make a matching grant is available here.
