Donating to Friends of AEA
Thanks to our fantastic Einstein community, we already have 65 families
who have contributed to our annual donation drive together pledging over
$20,000. Thank you for this great start to meeting our donation drive goal
for the year.
As we highlighted in the welcome newsletter, the purpose of Friends of
Albert Einstein Academies (FoAEA) is to support programs at AEA including Art,
Music, Science, Physical Education, Gardening and Nutrition, Field Trips,
and Assemblies. Support of these programs comes through the generosity of
our families, matching grants from companies parents work at, company
sponsorships, and additional fundraising programs such as the Amazon
affiliate referral program, Artsonia, and Box Tops. We couldn't do any of this
Youth Enrichment Center Enrollment
Open enrollment for the Youth Enrichment Center 2016 - 2017!
Albert Einstein’s exciting afterschool program for all middle school
students. The Center is an engaging and safe place for the children to
stay after school and is open every day until 6:00pm. The children have
space to do homework, read, attend workshops, socialize and play games.
Please stop by anytime and check it out!

MS Parent Coffee with Principal Robinson
Parents of Middle School students are invited to coffee with
Principal Barb Robinson Tuesday, September 13th after drop off
(8:10am) at “Food for Thought” coffee shop next to the school. Get
to know other parents, the middle school parent committee, and Barb
at this informal get together!
German Oktoberfest Celebration for 6th Graders
The German Language Team is hosting its annual German Oktoberfest
celebration on Sept 29th and 30th for all 6th graders. To pull this
all off, our teachers need help!
Volunteer Your Time: We need 3 parent volunteers
from 9-10am in
the MPR each day to help set up, serve drinks, clean up, and
supervise student volunteers.
Donate Supplies: 40 Liters sparkling mineral water;
apple juice; 200 Royal blue and white napkins (Bavarian pattern if
possible); 200 Disposable plates (Bavarian if possible); 200
Disposable cups (Bavarian if possible).
To volunteer or donate, please go to our
Teacher Wish List. If you prefer not to sign up online, simply
bring your donations to your child’s German teacher. All donations
delivered by Monday Sept 26th please.

Our amazing teachers have some pretty awesome things planned for our
kids this year, and they need our help. The following teachers are
- Mr. Allen – 7th grade social studies: Markers, all colors
(40 sets), Colored pencils (40 sets), Sharpies, fine point, any color (40 sets
or individual pens), Rolls of masking tape (40), Rolls of aluminum foil (40),
Paint brushes (various sizes)(40)
- Ms. Gullans / Ms. Mcmillen – 7th grade English: 130 copies
of "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton (new or gently used) Needed by October 1.
- Mr. Milton – 6th grade history: Colored pencils (36 sets),
Ear buds (36), Non-spiraled composition notebooks (36), Glue sticks (36), Boxes
of Kleenex (20)
