Middle School Holiday Party Sign Up

The Teachers and Staff will be celebrating their Holiday Party Wednesday, December 7th. As a tradition of past years, the MS Parent community comes together and makes a home made luncheon. I am excited to share that their luncheon will be hosted by you, the Parents of your children at AEAMS.

Please prepare and bring a serving dish for 7-10 people Wednesday morning. We will be hoping for salad, warm dish, and/or dessert. Volunteers for setting up, serving, and cleaning up will be most welcome. This event is one of the ways we can share our appreciation and holiday cheer with the school’s teachers and staff. They are so wonderful with our children. Thank you for helping out.

60+ Teachers and Staff will attend the Holiday Party. To pull this off, we need your help!

  • (6) Salad - serving 7-10 people
  • (10) Warm Main Dish - serving 7-10 people
  • (3) Veggie Plate - serving 7-10 people
  • (3) Fruit Plate - serving 7-10 people
  • (8) Dessert - serving 7-10 people
  • (2) Cranberry Juice - 24 oz
  • (2) Orange Juice - 24oz
  • (5) Parent Volunteers to set up between 9am-1pm

Please drop off Wednesday, December 7, before 10am. To donate or volunteer, please go to our MS Teacher Wish List, so everyone can determine which items are needed. Thank you for helping make this an wonderful holiday celebration! -- Warmly, Kathi Blocher and Rebecca Bennet

Holiday Gift Giving

Each year FoAEA provides information on holiday gift giving that helps support our community and raises money for the school. Last year the AEA community helped raised $3,000 while purchasing holiday gifts for your family and friends. This year, with the growth in the schools and the better visibility of this program, we'd like to see how much better we can do.

Mixed Bags Fundraiser

Even though our fall fundraiser (Mixed Bags) is has completed, you can still order online: www.mixedbagdesigns.com/Retail-Home?fundraiserid=144878.

Holiday Shopping Through Amazon

The amazon.com affiliate program has become one of our most successful fundraisers over the last few years in part because it doesn't cost anything beyond what you were going to purchase anyway. This school year participation has been fantastic.

As you are planning your holiday gift giving, please remember to use our link (foaea.org/amazon) and tell anybody you can about it including grandparents, uncles and aunts, friends of the family, etc. Gift giving can have even more meaning when it is also raising money for schools. There's no limit to who can use it, how many times, or how much money we can raise through this program!

Artsonia is great for Holiday Gifts!

Go to Artsonia and check out your child's artwork. If you buy before December 15th it will deliver by Christmas and the school gets 20% of your purchases back as a donation.

End of the Year Donations

Many of you make your donations to charitable organizations towards the end of the year. We would like to encourage you to keep your kid's school in mind when making your end of the year donations.

These are the programs that Friends of Albert Eintein Academies supports each year.

AEA's families are what sustains these programs and we greatly appreciate your support through donations and your volunteer time. This year's fundraising is getting off to a good start, but we still have a ways to go in order to meet our fundraising goals. So far we've had 27 families sign up for a one time or monthly donation pledging over $36,000 towards our goal of $60,000. Thank you. If you haven't donated yet, it takes just a moment. Click on the image below and make either a one time donation or sign up for a monthly subscription.

If you are a monthly donor, please help us meet our goal by keeping your monthly subscription active. Sometimes credit cards don't go through and sometimes we all get new credit card numbers. When this happens, please update your credit card information online.

Have you donated yet?

This year has been a bit slow with donations to FoAEA, so we hope that you will take some time to become a monthly donor or send in a one time donation. Remember that your donations may be tax free. If you haven't signed up yet, please take 5 minutes to contribute to AEA's enrichment programs. Go to our donation website from your mobile device or computer and select a monthly donation amount or a one time donation. Choose $30/month ($1/day) or any amount affordable to you. Even $5 or $10 per month makes a huge difference for the kids.

Corporate Matching Grants

Matching grants are another important way to help donate to the school. During the last school years Union Bank, Qualcomm, Pfizer, Intuit, Genentech, Covidien, Nokia, and ARS National Svcs all donated to FoAEA and this year we have commitments to donations from Qualcomm, Genentech, ThompsonReuters, and GoPro for over $10,000.

We thank all of these companies for their generous support. If you work for any of these companies and have not yet taken advantage of their matching grant program, it just takes a few minutes and is free money to the school. One way of finding out if your employeer supports matching grants is to look at this list of companies. Information normally needed to have an employeer make a matching grant is available here.
