Middle School Wish List Request - Mice (for Chromebooks)

Our MS 6th grade math department needs 200 new or used mice for student Chromebooks. Perhaps your office’s IT dept has an unused box of mice from which you could take a few to donate … my office did. New mice are also pretty cheap on Amazon.com here, here, and here. Don’t forget to use foaea.org/amazon for AEA!

To donate, please sign-up on our Wish List, so everyone can determine when Ms. Pruitt’s wish has been fulfilled. Please drop donations with Ms. Pruitt or the front office at your earliest convenience. Thank you!

Questions? Please contact Amy. See everyone there!

Additional Background Info

Many of the German-speaking families have lots of used German books, films etc. laying around or stored in boxes. Instead of just donating it and not knowing if it finds the right person, we came up with the idea to have a flea market instead, where children, teens and adults can sell/buy/trade their stuff at an organized event. If it is successful, we plan to continue to do it quarterly or annually. Even though we hope that many families are signing up for table space for their children to sell stuff, it should also be open to grown-ups to sell their novels, videos etc. Of course, this all will only work, if we can get enough people, including the German community and American AEACS parents, interested in coming by to shop for German language titles for themselves or with their children. This will be a very good opportunity for American parents to get their hands on German language items at very low cost.

Kinder Mission

Support essential enrichment programs at AEA

Please help support essential programs at AEA through a donation to Friends of Albert Einstein Academies. Our goal is to have 200 families participate in this donation drive. Donating to FoAEA supports the enrichment programs that our kids benefit from including art, music, PE and science programs and provides funds for field trips, assemblies, and classroom supplies.

If you haven't signed up yet, please take 5 minutes to contribute to AEA's enrichment programs. Go to our donation website from your mobile device or computer and select a monthly donation amount or a one time donation. Choose $30/month ($1/day) or any amount affordable to you. Even $5 or $10 per month makes a huge difference for the kids.

Matching Grants

Last year, the following companies made matching grants to FoAEA: Union Bank, Qualcomm, Pfizer, Intuit, Genentech, Covidien, Nokia, and ARS National Svcs.

We thank all of these companies for their generous support. If you work for any of these companies and have not yet taken advantage of their matching grant program, it just takes a few minutes and is free money to the school. One way of finding out if your employeer supports matching grants is to look at this list of companies. Information normally needed to have an employeer make a matching grant is available here.

Clipping Box Tops is an easy way for you to help our school earn cash. This school year, our school’s earnings goal is $1,000 which will go towards all the wonderful programs our school offers.
