Friends of AEA supports or sponsores a number of events during the year. All of our events are listed on the AEA master calendar. Subscribing the the calendar is easy. See the bottom of the page for instructions.

| Welcome Back to School Barbeque | All AEA families are invited to our welcome back barbeque. It's a great chance to chat with old friends and meet new ones! Elementary class lists will be available at this event. This year, we are serving Bratwurst, Veggie dogs and grilled vegetables. We are also hosting a salad bar pot luck. Sign up to bring something for the salad pot luck. | August 22nd, 2014, 5-7 pm |
| Father Daughter Dance | For elementary girls and their dads (or uncles, grandpas, big brothers, etc.) DJ! Mini Dance Lessons! Punch! Ice Cream Sundae Bar! This year will be a "Frozen" theme. | October 3rd, 2014 |
| Golftoberfest | A 2-person best ball scramble golf tournament with a Shotgun start to raise money for Physical Education equipment. All Golfers Welcome! | Saturday, October 11th, 2014, 1 pm |
| Lantern Festival | Signature AEA event German Cultural Community celebration – complete with Lantern walk and German songs | Saturday, November 1st, 2014, 4-7 pm |
| Fall Fundraiser Start | The fall fundraiser includes our annual appeal drive. All families are encouraged to donate $1 per day or $30/month for each child attending the academies. This is the way we support our schools programs. Donations are tax deductible and can be made via our website or by check. The fall fundraiser also includes a school wide sale. Students sell items to support the school and highest selling classes receive a pizza party! | November 2014 |

| Cake Auction & Chili cook off | Please join us for this fun event. All the chili you can eat and beautiful cakes to bid on and buy.

$100.00 prizes for the best chili, best in show cake and for the best middle school cake. We need your support to make it a success. You can bake a cake, enter your famous chili, donate a small item, donate some time, or just come for some fun for the whole family. |
